Pact implements the 5-year WE Act Project, funded by USAID. WE Act focuses on empowering young women entrepreneurs in urban centers to access the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to realize their full potential as entrepreneurs and leaders in their communities. The overall goal of the project is to see young women improve their socio-economic status.

Pact Cambodia is part of the Pact development INGO founded in 1979 and works in 40 countries. At the heart of Pact is the promise of a better tomorrow. Working in Cambodia since 1991, Pact has supported Cambodian civil society and strengthened the capacity of institutions run by and for Cambodians to end poverty and injustice.

We are currently recruiting for the following full-time positions and the positions are contingent on award of USAID funding:

  1. Youth Engagement Manager
    The Youth Engagement Manager is responsible for the coordination of programmatic and operational efforts for the project, related to all youth-related engagement activities, such as infotainment activities, engaging with youth networks, identifying issues related to COVID-19, lead the university engagement and others. In addition, (S)he will also manage the WE Act youth ambassadors, who will be implementing youth-related activities. (S)he will report to the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP).
  2. Youth Engagement Officer (1)
    The Youth Engagement Officer will report to the Youth Engagement Manager and support the implementation of all activities under his/her responsibility related to youth engagement. This includes social media, working with youth networks and others. (S)he will play a key role to design, implement, and support youth leaders, and young men and women in promoting collective voice and issues. (S)he will also support program lead in managing partnerships and grants provided to other different organizations. (S)he will report to the Youth Engagement Manager.
  3. Business Engagement Officer (1)
    The Business Engagement Officer will report to the Business Engagement Manager and support the implementation of all activities under his/her responsibility related to private sector engagement and partnerships, business networks, and support activities related to coaching and mentoring. (S)he will report to the Business Engagement Manager.
  4. Capacity Development Advocacy and Senior Technical Officer (1)
    The Capacity Development Advocacy and Senior Technical Officer will provide technical expertise across the partners of WE Act on Capacity Development (CD). This is CD relates to the performance of the partners themselves, as well as partners’ activities related to CD such as trainings. In addition (S)he will provide technical and practical expertise around the advocacy activities undertaken for WE Act. The Capacity Development and Advocacy Senior Technical Officer directly reports to the DCOP.
  5. Provincial Coordinators for Battambang and Kompong Cham province (2)
    The Provincial Coordinators will be the key point of contact for WE Act in 3 new provinces and will have primary responsibility for managing project activities and maintaining project partnerships focused on the provincial towns. (S)he will design, together with the WE Act team and partners, and oversee the implementation of activities. The Provincial Coordinators will directly report to the Regional Coordinator
  6. Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer (1)
    The MEL Officer will provide support related to monitoring, and evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities including: coordinating with other project staff to roll out the project’s MEL Plan, take part in developing relevant MEL tools, assisting in training to local partners on MEL support of project learning activities such as; research study and critical reflection and learning processes (CLA) with grantee; sharing lesson learnt and best practices.
  7. Communications Officer (1)
    The Communications Officer will ensure that publications, newsflash, role-model videos and stories are regularly published and shared widely to increase the awareness of the success of the project as well as increase the visibility of successful women entrepreneurs in Cambodia to address cultural barriers and provide positive role models. In addition, (s)he will make sure the project activities are up to date on social media such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
  8. Finance Assistant (1)
    The Finance Assistant (FA) is responsible for maintaining all financial documents, accounting records, withdrawing /depositing of cash or checks into the Pact bank accounts, preparing payment, receipt, and journal vouchers and ensures the timely disbursement to Pact’s staff and partners and performs other relevant duties. The Finance Assistant will report directly to Finance Officer (FO).
  9. Drivers (2)
    The Driver will be responsible for the proper and safe utilization of the Pact’s vehicles and providing transportation to Pact’s employees, consultants, visitors and to do errands and deliver messages for Pact in Cambodia. The Driver will report directly to the HR & Admin Officer.
