project technical adviser

Zach Center is the Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Women Entrepreneurs Act project (WE Act), where he takes a leadership role in overseeing systemic interventions aimed at empowering young women. Previous to this, Zach worked as the Country Manager for Pact in Cambodia, where he had oversight of a portfolio of diverse projects focusing on strengthening governance, livelihoods and natural resource management outcomes in Cambodia and throughout the Lower Mekong region. Before moving to Cambodia in 2015, Zach was based in Washington, DC where he worked with multiple NGOs focusing primarily on issues around access to finance and civil society strengthening in developing countries. Zach has more than ten years of experience working in the international development space, including more than three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Chad, Mozambique and Liberia. Zach has an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC.
